Dell Makes Another Retail Move, Heads To Best Buy
Round Rock-based PC maker Dell has made yet another move into retail stores, saying Thursday that the company will sell its XPS and Inspiron notebooks and desktop computers in Best Buy locations in the U.S. Dell said it will sell its new XPS One and other models at Best Buy locations. The deal is the latest in a string of retail agreements, including deals with Staples and Wal-Mart. The firm also has recently inked retail distribution agreements with Carrefour in Europe, Courts in Singapore, Gome in China, Bic Camera in Japan, and Carphone Warehouse in the U.K.
