Round Rock-based Dell said this morning that it has named Adriana Karaboutis as its new Global Chief Information Officer, heading up its IT organization. Karaboutis was previously Vice President of IT at Dell, supporting its product groups, manufacturing, procurement and supply chain operations. She joined Dell in 2010, and had previously worked at General Motors and Ford Motor Company.
