Dell Inks 12-Country Euro Retail Deal with DSGi
Computer manufacturer Dell Inc. revealed Thursday that, beginning in January, its notebooks and desktops will be sold in stores operated by one of Europe's leading consumer electronics retailers. The Round Rock, Texas-based company said DSG International PLC will offer Dell products throughout its United Kingdom- and Ireland-based stores, including its PC World, Currys and Currys digital brands as well as its Dixons.co.uk Web site. Dell said DSGi's continental brands, such as Electro World, PC City and Elkj°p, will also carry Dell laptops and desktops in stores across Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Italy and Greece. Dell added that the retail agreement also covers DSGi's assets in Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
