Dell Gets Win With U.S. Army
Dell has scored a win with the U.S. Army as part of a $5B, three year contract for servers, storage, and networking, the firm announced Thursday. Dell said that it is one of six prime awardees for the contract, which includes both equipment as well as installation and integration services. Dell said that the ITES-2H contract is a three year agreement with two one-year extensions, and a purchase ceiling of $5B. Round Rock, Texas-based Dell currently also has a number of other contracts with the Army.
