Dell Gets Service Award
Computer manufacturer and direct retailer Dell Inc. revealed Tuesday that it has received the Service & Support Professionals Associationís STAR Award for Service Excellence. Specifically, Dell said the association, whose members hail from enterprise and consumer technology companies as well as small- and mid-sized businesses, recognized Dellís Global Services team for service excellence in mission-critical support and hardware. Dell explained that the team was noted for achievement in technical support and for an ability to keep its customers' mission-critical systems in continuous operation. The Round Rock, Texas-based company added that this is the second time in three years that it has received a STAR award in this category.
