Dallas, Texas-based Deep Nines said today that it has acquired San Jose-based Captus Networks. Captus Networks is a developer of intrusion prevention systems used for securing IP networks. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. DeepNines said it acquired the intellectual property, assets and customers of Captus.
