Austin-based Dachis Group, the social marketing software and services firm headed by Jeffrey Dachis, said today that it has promoted Dion Hinchcliffe to the position of Chief Strategy Officer. Hinchcliffe is co-author of the book Social Business By Design, and also writes columns for ZDNet and InformationWeek. He has been at Dachis Group since 2010, when the firm acquired his management consulting firm, Hinchcliffe & Company.
