CyrusOne Upgrades Power At Lewisville Data Center
For data center operators, the availability of power has become one of the bigger issues they face in operating their centers--which use the equivalent of a medium sized town in energy. To that end, Dallas-based CyrusOne reported this morning that it has added additional utility infrastructure at its Lewisville, Texas data center, upgrading it to handle 25 MVA of capacity from Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP). CyrusOne says its data center includes 109,000 square feet of raised floor space.
