CyrusOne Opens New Facility In San Antonio
CyrusOne is opening yet another facility in Texas today, saying it has officially opened up a new 80,000 square foot facility in San Antonio. CyrusOne--owned by Cincinnati Bell--has been busy opening up new data centers in Texas, most recently a 670,000 square-foot facility in Carrollton. The company said the new, multi-tenant data center will help it complete the last leg in a state-wide Internet Exchange platform which connects all of its data centers in the state. The firm said the new location's benefits include low power and "relatively disaster-free" geography. CyrusOne has announced openings in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, as well as Phoenix over the last year or so.
