San Antonio-based GlobalSCAPE, a developer of FTP server software, announced Monday that it has entered into a term sheet with Austin-based CoreTrace, a developer of enterprise security tools. According to GlobalSCAPE, it will take an equity position in CoreTrace, and a seat on CoreTrace's board. Amount of the investment was not disclosed. CoreTrace is a developer of whitelisting software which controls the execution of applications on corporate systems.
