Austin, Texas-based Convio, a provider of software for the nonprofit sector, said today that it has created a new Web 2.0 application programming interface, which will allow nonprofits to connect into its systems. The firm said its new Convio Open Initiative includes applications, integration tools, and APIs which will link the firm's software to platforms such as Facebook, Flickr, and Plaxo.
