    Cognitive Technologies Gets Microsoft Award


    Austin-based Cognitive Technologies, a provider of IT consulting services for the Federal government and Fortune 1000 companies, said today that the firm has been recognized by Microsoft's Federal sales group. According to the firm, which focuses on project and program management, it has been chosen as "Rookie of the Year" by Microsoft Federal. The firm said it provides Microsoft-based products to Federal government clients, including the Department of Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Department of Education's Federal Student Aid program.
