Click Forensics Links To PPC Networks

Austin-based Click Forensics said earlier this week that it has linked its click fraud reporting tools to several pay-per-click networks, including Google, MIVA, and LookSmart. The reports are submitted by companies to request investigations into click fraud detected by Click Forensics' software. According to Click Forensics, the reports are already accepted by Yahoo!. Click Forensics has analytics software which looks at clicks on advertisements, and tries to identify "click fraud"--clicks where a publisher is looking to boost their revenues without having users who are truly interested in the products they have clicked on. Click Forensics is venture backed by Sierra Ventures, Austin Ventures and Shasta Ventures.
