It's official: Austin's Capital Factory has established itself in the world of high tech startup incubation, after President Obama made the incubator one of his stops on his "Middle Class Jobs & Opportunity Tour" Thursday. Obama visited Manor New Tech High School, had lunch at Stubb's BBQ, chatted with entrepreneurs at Capital Factory, and also visited Applied Materials. Obama's tour looked to help showcase the companies that the White House said has helped make Austin a hub for innovation and job creation. In a speech at Applied Mateirals, Obama described his visit to Capital Factory, saying that "everywhere you turn, somebody has got a new idea. They're all thinking big. They're taking risks. It's exciting."
