Buffalo Technologies Names CEO
Austin-based Buffalo Technology USA, a developer of storage, networking, and other products, announced yesterday that it has appointed Taiji Watanabe as its Chief Executive Officer. Watanabe takes over for Takayuki Nishioka. According to the firm, Watanabe has been at Buffalo Japan for over 20 years. The company said that Watanabe will be responsible for Buffalo's market strategy for the US. Buffalo Technology is a subsidiary of Japanese firm MELCO Holdings. Buffalo's headquarters is in Japan; the firm's Austin-based, U.S. unit handles marketing and sales in the United States.
