Houston-based BMC Software said today that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is using its Remedyforce software. The software is used for IT help desk management. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. BMC said that the agency selected BMC Remedyforce Service Desk sa part of an effort to help improve internal performance and better service at the agency. Apparently, the department had been using a paper-based IT service management process before implementing BMC's software.
