BMC Trumpets Salesforce.com Ties
Houston-based BMC Software said today that it has signed up a significant number of customers on its Remedyforce Service Desk offering, its its cloud-based help desk software which runs via Salesforce.com's Force.com platform. The firm said such companies as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the New Zealand Transport Agency and Yakult Honsha Co. Ltd, are using the product, which the two announced last December. BMC said it also is seeing a drive by resellers such as Ingram Micro to drive adoption of the product. Salesforce.com is running it annual Dreamforce conference this week.
