BMC Software Wins Unisys, Dannon Accounts

Houston-based BMC Software, a publisher of enterprise management applications, revealed Wednesday that it has landed two key international contracts. For one, BMC said it is providing IT consulting firm Unisys Corp. with selections from its Business Service Management portfolio, including BMC Asset Management, Discovery, Performance Management and Monitoring. BMC said Unisys will deploy the software in support of its IT outsourcing services throughout the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, BMC said Paris-based food product company Groupe Danone—better known as Dannon within the United States—has implemented BMC's IT Service Management offering. BMC said the deployment comprised some 8,000 Danone customers located in 110 sites that were spread across 21 countries and seven time zones in northeast and Central Europe. The financial impact of either customer win was not disclosed.
