BMC Software Adds Two BladeLogic Executives

Houston-based IT management applications publisher BMC Software reported today that it has added two names to its executive roster. Both individuals, the company said, were formerly C-level executives at BladeLogic, the data center automation software developer that BMC acquired in April. John McMahon, BladeLogic's former chief operating officer, will assume the role of senior vice president for worldwide sales and services at BMC. In this capacity, McMahon will report to Bob Beauchamp, BMC's president and chief executive officer. BMC said McMahon will replace Cosmo Santullo, who is leaving the company in a matter of days. BMC also hired Vijay Manwani, BladeLogic's former chief technology officer, as CTO for Service Automation. Manwani will report to Jim Grant, senior vice president and general manager of BMC's Enterprise Service Management business unit.
