BizNet Names Software DirectorDallas-based BizNet Software reported Tuesday that it has hired former Microsoft executive Demetrius Austin as director of software engineering. The Dallas-based publisher of Excel business reporting and analysis applications said Austin's responsibilities include ensuring best practices are implemented correctly and providing guidance on technology and growth initiatives. BizNet described Austin as a 20-year IT and software development veteran who previously worked for Microsoft/FRx.
