BioStable Gets $5.5MAustin-based BioStable Science & Engineering, which is developing cardiovascular implants, has scored $5.5M in a Series A funding, the firm said today. The round came from Sante Ventures. According to the company, it founded by former executives from CarboMedics, including Charles Griffin, Rusty Phillips, Al Beavan, Doug Frank, and Don James. CarboMedics was also based in Austin until it was acquired in 2003.
