Austin-based Bazaarvoice, a provider of technology for ecommerce ratings and reviews, said Monday that it has added Jeffrey Dachis, co-founder and former President, Chairman, and CEO of Razorfish to its advisory board. Bazaarvoice credited Dachis as being "one of the earliest--and greatest--pioneers in digital media." Dachis headed Razorfish's $55M IPO in 1999; the firm eventually became part of aQuantive, which was acquired by Microsoft last year. Dachis is now founder and Senior Partner at Bond Art & Science, which provides information design and user experience for digital media and information services. Bazaarvoice is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Battery Ventures, and First Round Capital.
