    Bazaarvoice Hires Executive


    Bazaarvoice reported yesterday that Heather Brunner has joined the company as senior vice president of worldwide client services. The Austin, Texas-based publisher of hosted social commerce software said Brunner boasts nearly two decades of experience with start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Her chief duties at Bazaarvoice will be overseeing its services organization while working closely with executive staff and clientele. Bazaarvoice said Brunner hails from Trilogy subsidiary Nuvo, where she was president and chief executive officer. Before that, she was chief operations officer for B-Side. She has also held management-level positions with Coremetrics, Trilogy, Concero, Oracle and Accenture. Bazaarvoice provides software-as-a-service tools used by online retailers to add ratings and reviews to their websites; the firm is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Battery Ventures, First Round Capital, and European Founders Fund.
