AutoRevo Adds Carfax to Dealer Marketing Tool
Carfax, a Web-based provider of vehicle histories, revealed Thursday that AutoRevo will provide used car data through its proprietary, software-as-a-service vehicle marketing system for auto dealerships. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Carfax said the partnership will enable used car shoppers and inventory managers at subscribing dealerships to obtain vehicle history information directly from Carfax. Headquartered in Dallas, AutoRevo licenses an on-demand vehicle marketing system that enables automotive dealerships to dynamically advertise and market their inventories. The system, which AutoRevo said serves more than 600 clients throughout North America, includes dealer information, vehicle descriptions, VINs, photos and custom ad templates and window stickers. Carfax is headquartered in Centreville, Va.
