AT&T Completes Acquisition Of Interwise
San Antonio-based AT&T said it has completed its acquisition of Interwise, a provider of voice over IP, web, and video conferencing services. The deal was worth $121M in cash. The firm will become a subsidiary of AT&T Communications Corp. Cambridge, Mass-based Interwise employed approximately 150 in the US, Europe, and Asia. AT&T said, in conjunction with the acquisition, it has launched AT&T Connect, a voice and web conferencing service.
