American Airlines In Tablet Deal With Samsung
Fort Worth-based American Airlines is apparently getting set to provide its First Class passengers with a tablet to use on its flights, for in-flight entertainment, according to Samsung Mobile. Samsung Mobile said American Airlines will offer up its Galaxy Tab 10.1 mobile tablets in its premium cabins, on flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles, JFK and San Francisco, and Miami and Los Angeles, international flights to and from Europe and South America, and Boston to Los Angeles. Samsung said it will customize its Galaxy Tab to American's needs. Samsung, which announced the deal, did not say when American plans on rolling out the tablets to its planes.
