Almalence In Licensing Deal With Intel

Austin-based Almalence, a developer of mobile imaging software used to improve the quality of photos taken on mobile devices, has licensed its technology to Intel, the company said Monday. Financial details of the licensing deal were not announced. Almalence said Intel is using its technology on its Atom x3 processors. Almalence says its software improves resolution, low light performance, and dynamic range of mobile sensors, without requiring hardware changes.
