San Antonio-based mobile healthcare technology developer AirStrip Technologies announced this morning that it has named Todd C. Cozzens as its new Chairman of the board, and also added Keith B. Pitts as a member of the board of directors. Cozzens is at investor Sequoia Capital and also has served at Picis (acquired by UnitedHealth), and Marquette Medical Systems (IPO). Pitts is Vice Chairman of Vanguard Health Systems, an operator of acute care hospitals, and also served at Mariner Post-Acute Network/Paragon Health Network, OrNda HealthCorp, and Ernst & Young. AirStrip is venture backed by Sequoia Capital, Qualcomm, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), and the Wellcome Trust, an dprovides technology for mobile monitoring of patients.
