San Antonio-based Airstrip, the developer of mobile patient monitoring systems which is backed by Sequoia Capital, Qualcomm, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and the Wellcome Trust, said today that it has partnered with CardioNet. CardioNet is a developer of ambulatory monitoring devices for cardiac and heart conditions.
According to the two, they are in a partnership where they will develop and co-market an integrated solution for mobile patient monitoring. Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The two said they are linking Airstrip's mobility product with CardioNet's Mobile Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry, which will let clinicians access live patient data on their tablets and phones. The two said they expect to deliver their product by mid-year.
